In April 2017 the practice was shortlisted for the Ross Pavilion design competition in collaboration with Sou Fujimoto Architects. The Ross Pavilion is located in West Prince’s Street Gardens, Edinburgh.
The competition brief called for the replacement of the existing 1930’s pavilion with a performance space which could either be used for small enclosed events for up to 200 people, or be opened up to face a new amphitheatre containing up to 6000 people. In addition to the performance space is a new visitor centre located beneath a viewing platform on Prince’s Street.
